Club Rides

The club holds rides at 9.30am each Saturday in the winter and at 8.30 in the summer months. These usually leave alternately from the Waitrose roundabout in Wymondham and from The Firs Pub (on the junction of Fifers Lane and the Cromer Road, near Norwich Airport). Starting from two different places makes it easier to ride both north and south of the city. The rides vary in length, depending on the weather and who turns up. They are usually over 30 miles in length. They are not fast training rides and average speed is about 15/16 miles per hour. We usually stop for a tea break and a list of cafe stops are given below.

We hold very successful Monday evening rides which begin in the middle of May. A list of dates is given below with the name of the ride leader. Further dates will be added in due course. These rides are designed for those who are new to cycling and they are at a much gentler pace than the Saturday rides. They are ideal for youngsters.
The rides leave from the village sign in Eaton at 7pm sharp and are about 20 miles in length, following quiet country lanes. Please meet at 6.50pm so we can make a prompt start.

The rides are open to everyone - you do not have to be a club member to ride. So, come and give it a try - you will be made most welcome.
