KEN VOISEY MEMORIAL CUP
Presented to the Club by Mrs. Alice Voisey and Family in remembrance of the late K.W. Voisey. It is awarded to the Club Champion at ‘10’ miles.
HALFORD CUP
Presented to the Club by the Halford Cycle Co. It is awarded to the Club Champion at ‘25’ miles.
WICKWAR TROPHY
A very ornate silver trophy given to the club by the Suffolk Roads C.C. when they disbanded and is awarded to the Club Champion at ‘30’ miles.
SIR G.E. WHITE SILVER CUP
Presented to the club by Alderman Sir G.E. White. Awarded to the Club Champion at ‘50’ miles.
THE A.J. NUDDS TROPHY
Presented by the widow of the late A.J. Nudds in memory of her husband. Awarded to the Club Champion at ‘100’ miles.
WILLMOTT / B.S.A. TROPHY
Presented by Mr. C.W. Willmott and the BSA Co.
It is awarded to the Club Champion at 12 hours.
THE HARPER SMITH CUP
Presented by the late Alderman H. Harper-Smith.
It is awarded to the Club’s best All-rounder over 50, 100 miles and 12 hours in any Open or Association events.
THE CLUB CUP
The valuable Silver Challenge Cup purchased by the club in 1883 for 30 Guineas. Standing 20 inches high and originally completed for on a monthly basis during the summer months in a series of handicap races of varying distances on the road. In 1885 it was raced for on the Newmarket Road Ground. In 1891 on the Earlham Road Track, and between 1907 and 1939 it was raced for over the one-mile distance on grass. Currently is awarded to the Club’s Short Distance Best All-rounder over 10, 25 and 50 miles in any Open or Association events.
THE RACKHAM CUP
Originally a monthly Challenge Cup, was won outright in the early days of the club, discovered by Mr. H. Rackham many years after and handed back. It is awarded to the Best Veteran on aggregate standard time at 25, 50 and 100 miles as the Club’s Veteran Best All-rounder in any Open or Association events.
VETERANS TROPHY
A wooden trophy with a bronze centre depicting cyclist racing on a grass track and presented to the club by the late W.G. ‘Bill’ Cooper, for competition by the Club’s Veterans. It is awarded to the Fastest Veteran on Standard Time at 25 miles on any course.
H. DEEKS CUP
Presented by the Suffolk Roads C.C. on their winding up and is awarded to the Ladies Best All-rounder with the Fastest Aggregate Time over 10 and 25 miles on any course.
THE NORAH WILLMOTT CUP
Presented to the club by Mrs. Norah Willmott for competition by Lady Members. It is awarded to the Lady Member with the Season’s Fastest Time at 10 miles on Any Course.
WIXEY CUP
Presented by Mr. W.M. Wixey. Awarded to the fastest novice on aggregate in any 25 and 50 mile time trial. (A Novice is a rider who at the start of the season has not taken a First Prize in Any Open or Association Event or a novice is a Club Rider who at the start of the season has not taken a First Prize in Any Open Time Trial or has not won this trophy before).
SUFFOLK ROADS C.C. CYCLO-CROSS CUP
Given to the club by the Suffolk Roads C.C. on their winding up and is awarded to the Club Champion in a nominated event during the previous Cyclo-Cross Season.
SUFFOLK ROADS C.C. HILL CLIMB CUP
Given to the club by the Suffolk Broads C.C. on their winding up and is awarded to the Fastest Club rider in a nominated event.
THE MERCER CUP
Given to the club by the Suffolk Roads C.C. on their winding up and is awarded to the Juvenile Champion (to be decided by the committee).
THE BANHAM ROAD RACE CUP
Presented by Mr. H.E. Banham to the club in 1963. It is awarded to the Club Member with the best Performance in Road Races.
THE BANHAM CUP
Awarded to the Club’s Junior Best All-rounder with the Best Aggregate Time over 10 & 25 miles on any course.
THE PALMER TYRE CO. CUP
The Silver Cup which was presented to the club by the Palmer Tyre Co. It is awarded to the Club Member with the Best Performances in Criterium Races.
SAWYER / VOISEY CUP
Presented by the Sawyer / Voisey family for competition between the Norwich A.B.C. and the East Anglian C.C. Points 3, 2 & 1 are awarded to the first three riders in nominated events. (See the Time Trialling section under Events for nominated events.)
KING GEORGE V SILVER CHALLENGE CUP
Presented by his late Majesty to the Norwich Charity Sports Committee. On the winding up of that Committee it was given to the Club for competition. It has been competed for in the clubs ‘100’ but currently it is awarded to the winner of the club’s July 10 mile time trial.
E.K. WHITE MEMORIAL CUP
Purchased by the Club in remembrance of the late Ernest White, President between 1950 and 1958. Awarded to the rider having the fastest time in the Club’s September 50 mile time trial. (At present awarded to the winner of the Club's mid-summer Open '25', there being no open '50' at the moment.)
JOHNSON-SMITH CUP
Awarded to the fastest Juvenile in the Come and Try It Time Trial.
B.E. RUMP MEMORIAL TROPHY
Presented to the club by the family of the late B.E. Rump (Hon. Secretary 1947-1964 and Chairman 1964-1971). It is awarded to the winner of the club’s October open 25 mile time trial.
EVA HARBORD ROSEBOWL
'Awarded to the best aggregate time in two of the three evening Open '10's (CC Breckland x 2 and EACC).
LENNIE WOODS TROPHY
Presented to the club by the family of the late Lennie Woods, a club racing man of the 1930s. No records of what the cup was won for by Lennie are known. Awarded to the member who wins the most points in the club evening '10' series.
MEDALS & CERTIFICATES
Medals are awarded to the winners of all club trophies; to riders recording the fastest time/greatest distance in any event at 10, 25, 30, 50, 100 miles and 12 hours; and to riders beating club individual records. Certificates are awarded to members of record teams and also to 2nd and 3rd placed riders in Long and Short Distance Best All Rounder competitions.
